Founders and Directors Robert and Jill Angell have been Seafood Consultants for over 15 years - advising major processing companies on the better utilisation and sourcing of fish.

The Beginning
The company was formed in 2004. After much in-depth research into the benefits of feeding fish to dogs (mainly their own!) Robert and Jill started making Dog Treats from the fish off-cuts which were not required by the major supermarket chains. Initially the Treats were produced in the Aga at home; their Great Danes loved them, their coats were glossy and bursting with health.

Development
Gradually the neighbours asked for them, local pet shops started selling them and Fish4Dogs was born. Vets started to recommend the Sea Jerky as a healthy natural dental treat for dogs - and as demand grew, new premises and more staff were needed, and now Fish4Dogs sell to dog lovers all over the UK and abroad.
There has been a continuous process of New Product Development since 2004, all based on the nutritional and diet-related benefits of feeding fish to dogs and cats. Research is underway to identify diet-related benefits to other pets as well - and new products for each animal will be launched on a regular basis.
Fish4Dogs Ltd is based in the centre of the UK, ideal for distribution to all parts of the country.
