12 dogs were removed from an unsuitable property in Malvern and taken to rescue centres across the region; one of these dogs was Ted.
Ted came into Worcester Animal Rescue Shelter (WARS) and it was immediately clear that he was very nervous of people and hadn’t been socialised. After initially going to a short-term foster home, he unfortunately found himself back at the WARS kennels.
With a lot of patient work from the WARS staff and Jenny, a long-standing, regular volunteer, Ted slowly began to start trusting humans again.
A lovely family saw Ted and wanted to offer him a home with them and their dogs. And after a few ‘getting-to-know-you’ sessions, Ted began to trust his new family and his new canine brothers and sisters.
It took Ted some time to settle into his new home, but with a strong bond with his new human mum, and a new name, Eddie, he soon found his feet and now just loves his new two legged and four legged family.
