Fish4Dogs Blog | Healthy Christmas Dog Treats

Posted on December 1, 2015

It has started to get very chilly in the mornings and Mr Patch doesn’t like the cold, the rain or even the wind!! I have invested in a lovely warm padded jacket (just to get him out the front door) and Miss Missy just has a light weight water proof jacket just to keep her dry (she’s got a lot more fur to keep her warm & the cold really doesn’t bother her).

It’s also really dark early so I have got them some light up collars so they can been seen clearly on their early mornings and tea time walks, you can get these very cheaply from lots of different shops.

December can be dangerous for lots of reasons and my dogs almost trip me up in the kitchen for scraps that fall on the floor. Over Christmas I take extra care as chocolate, fruit cake, onions and grapes are poisonous for dogs and they mean so much to me I couldn’t bare anything happening to them.

When I open my advent calendar my dogs have their own special Fish4Dogs advent calendar to open & they also have their Fishmas Box full of a special 5 course Christmas dinner for them on Christmas day. That way I don’t feel guilty as I’m not leaving them out and they are getting good healthy treats that will not make them poorly.

Have a really safe and wonderful Christmas, I hope santa paws brings all your pets lots of lovely gifts. I will catch up with you all in the New Year until then Merry Fishmas and a Happy New Year!!
